Annotation issue in GWP

Hello,

an issue with GWP annotation has recently begun. It is said that the annotation disappears when changing the zoom.

Help please

  • Hello David.   Thankyou for the supporting video.

Is it that the behaviour was different previously, or that the behaviour was only just now noticed for the first time?

Based on the video, it would appear that the graphics are reaching the minimum view possible within the Map Viewer.   i.e. When graphics fall below the nominal size of '2 pixels' they can no longer be displayed.

To assess whether this is applicable in your case, I suggest creating an additional layer with similarly sized small vector geometries placed in the immediate vicinity of an annotation. e.g. as below.

When the test is repeated, if the non-annotation geometries behave similarly then we know that this is the natural behaviour and working as designed.

    thanks,

    Nels

  • Hello Nels,

this problem has only recently appeared. The map application has been in use for two years and has not yet appeared.

The problem was reported by the customer, and I found out that he was also starting to appear with me. There will not be a problem on the scale.

    Just add:
-The problem occurs on WIN 10. The WIN 2008 server test is OK
-Idpr files are displayed (I can send you for the test)
-For text problems, the Background Border is used in GA (I'm sending a sample)

    Thanks

    David
