I am new to Geo Web Publisher and i was wondering if it is possible to link a video to a feature that is published. For example, I work for a mining company and i have a layer of blast blocks which are polygons with attributes that are displayed on the Info from a database table. i also have a field on the database that has a name of a pdf document linked to this polygon which is configured in Site author. See images attached. I would like to find out if it is possible to create a link to a video which should play when you click on the video icon in the web browser.
Where is your video located? It is on your server or in database?
The video is on the server.
Then you need to put in on IIS server as local folder so it has a URL link. Maybe local network URI links(file://host/path) also will work.
I did that and I am getting the 404 - File or directory not found error. It works for the images but not for the videos.
Have you allowed .mp4 mime type in IIS server to be accessible? Are these links valid?
