Hi folks, it's my first time posting on the forum.
I am looking for a way to convert idpr and dpr files into a more conventional format (preferably shapefiles or dgn). I haven't come across any converter or a way to access idpr or dpr files.
I also looked up idprcnv.exe too, but so far even that is hard to come by.
If there is a way, please let me know.
Thank you,
J

If I remember right, DPR format was investigated by Intergraph long time ago for InterPlot products, and later enhanced by Bentley to be used for design files publishing (Bentley Publisher and Bentley GeoWebPublisher products). So it is designed to be used for "viewing and printing only" and it is not expected it is converted to other format.

Yes, I think the only converters were part of the mentioned products installations, and they allow to convert different formats (DGN, SHP...) to (i)DPR format.

I think no such conversion is possible, because there is no conversion tool available.

A dpr.pltcfg file was used to create a .dpr file from MicroStation. It used the delivered dprdriver.dll and dprdriver.ma files in ..\mdlsys\asneeded directory
You can view DPR files directly in IEBrowser by using DPR ActiveX control which was delivered with GeoWebPublisher client. Maybe it is possible to try to print DPR to PDF from there. Also copy command copies DPR to clipboard as image.https://communities.bentley.com/products/projectwise/content_publishing/w/wiki/5607/troubleshooting-the-bentley-vpr-viewer-tn
