Hello all.
We sometimes receive a report about following Oracle problem in the PubLogCons -
2010-04-07 12:21:52.450 pid=0x0494 tid=0x069c DSP 0x0000 WRN 0x00000000 : ctx=0x093dd2cf Oracle engine: Problem reading Non-Graphical attributes from Oracle
What a reasons may be for it? Do you have any theory?
We use GWP V8i (version 08.11.05.28), Oracle 11g and Windows Server 2003 SP2.
Thanks for advance, Elena.
Hi Elena,
It does not appear to be the case, but if so, please reveal whether multiple Oracle clients exist on the server machine.
If multiple clients are in place, then we should ensure that the desired client is listed first in any OS path statement. This is outlined within the 08.11.05.28 readme for reference, if needed.
In whichever case, I would suggest that when this is observed, that you follow up by checking the non graphical sources via the GWP administrator. To do this, right click on the parent node of the item(s) you are investigating. In this case, it should be the 'Non Graphical Sources' node.
This should assist in troubleshooting the issue, by narrowing down the list to the troubled connection(s).
Of course, if there is only one connection present, the exercise may be moot.
A trouble report has been filled about those warnings. It seems there is no impact on the publishing.
