I have installed GeoWeb.Publisher.Server.v08.11.07.26.en and configured my license (by selectserver.bentley.com) via LicenseTool program.
In LicenseTool program Geo Web Publisher is activated:
There are 7 available GeoWebPublisher under Checkout tab:
But when I try to use Administration program I noticed the trial period is expired:
Have you tried stopping/restarting the services for GWP after you had entered the correct license information ?
Yes, I have tried and also I have completly reinstalled GWP. Anyway when I start Administrator program it always automatically stop GWP service, when I check "About" (3. screenshot). It seems like GWP didn't connected to "LicenseTool" program in background.
I also tried to checkout a GWP lincense. It works fine in LicenseTool program, checkout done successfully. But in GWP Admin the "Trial period has expired" message remains (after GWP restarted).
Have you done the following (from the help file)?
To verify the license using a command line:
In a system console window, set the current working directory to the directory in which the Bentley Geo Web Publisher V8i program is installed — for example, "C:\Bentley\GeoWebPublisher\".
At the system command prompt, enter: PubServer -licinfo.
If a valid license is in use, a message similar to the following will be presented:
The server license of this product is licensed to:
Customer Name
Bentley SELECT Server Name
The client license of this product is licensed.
Copyright (c) 2009 Bentley Systems, Incorporated
If no valid license was found, the following message will be displayed:
Bentley Geo Web Publisher V8i 08.11.07.xx
Server license not yet activated, X days left.
I have done it, the result was:
Bentley Geo Web Publisher 08.11.07.26
ggabor
L-Ter Informatika Ltd.
Client License: Evaluation period, 30 days left.
It seems like no SELECT Server information here.
Ah, so you have a server license but your "client" license is expired. GWP requires both a server and client license to work properly. The "server" license enables the server to run but the "client" license is actually what tells the server how many concurrent users can be connected.
