Since Projectwise GeoSpatial Management V8i SS2 is possible to read the raster metadata when scanning files. This functionality allows extracting and creating the Spatial Location according to the GPS information and retrieves any other tags that might be present and match them with existing ProjectWise environment attributes.
Raster images using EXIF Tags are supported since Projectwise GeoSpatial Management V8i SS3. It is possible to read the raster EXIF tag when scanning files in order to assign the spatial location. This option allows creating spatial location´s geometry of type point, vector, or triangle depending on available tags. This functionality creates a spatial location that represents what the camera “sees” instead of only from where the image was taken.
