GWP6037 Navigate to location by coordinates using custom search

    Coordinate Search

In the GWP Map Viewer you can navigate to a location by entering xy-coordinates.

In the GWP web site a search is added. The x- and y-coordinate and a scale are entered. After selecting the spyglass icon, the mapview is centered on the entered coordinate with the given scale.

    Configuration

    1. Install the attached file CoordinateSearch.ascx in the GWP folder C:\Bentley\GeoWebPublisher\Administration\GeoWebSite\.
    2. In the GWP Site Author, add a Search item.
    3. Change the name to Enter Coordinates.
    4. Enable the option "Custom Search" and select the attached ASCX file.
    5. Select the Apply button and save the changes.
    6. Publish the web site to make the change available.
