Slope Stability analysis using the Limit Equilibrium Method is applied worldwide to obtain a factor of safety. With the SoilVision solution, engineers can assess critical slip failure mechanisms in 2D/3D through a deterministic and probabilistic approach. This Geotechnical Analysis Special Group virtual workshop guides engineers about concepts and methods available in SVSLOPE for determining the factor of safety.

This one-hour session works within SoilVision CONNECT Edition, Version 10 and includes a technical presentation as well as time to share questions. Topics include:

  • Assessing a critical factor of safety in SVSLOPE
  • Different search methods and their application in 2D/3D
  • Analyzing critical slip failure shape mechanism
