I downloaded some tutorial files but they were saved for version 2018. How can I open the files by using version 2020?

PLAXIS software supports backwards compatibility. Any older project files can be opened with a newer version, here the CONNECT Edition V20.
Therefore, you should have no problem opening the projects in PLAXIS 2D CONNECT Edition V20.
