Is there any limitation of nodes? or any other things go wrong?
Coarse:

As far as I know, there is no limitations of nodes.

PLAXIS has inner settings that controlling finite element (tetrahedron) configuration.
In some cases if you use smaller elements (Medium), the mesher could give meshing error.
Anyway it is recommended to check the Quality spheres in Mesh tab in Output:

You see green-brown-red elements. Green — very good finite elements. Red — very bad.

To see green element you need to raise yellow bar on the right legend:

Also the user should inspect Minimum value of Quality spheres — at the bottom of the window.
if the Minimum value of Quality spheres is lower that 0.01, the user has to be prepared that the further calculations could failed.
On my screenshot Minimum value is quite good, more that 0.08:

But if you have values like 10^-3, 10^-6, 10^-9 or lower, it means that there are very lengthen tetrahedron like needles or icicles.
It would be better to refine mesh in this red area. Especially, if this area is located near your calculated structure.

Please, find more information via following topics:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotech-analysis/w/plaxis-soilvision-wiki/45866/generating-a-mesh
https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotech-analysis/w/plaxis-soilvision-wiki/45545/error-when-generating-3d-mesh
https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotech-analysis/w/plaxis-soilvision-wiki/46124/improving-a-mesh

Also it is interesting to watch Micha's webinar Geotechnical Analysis SIG - Better Geometry with the new PLAXIS 3D CONNECT Edition. The part about meshing begins at 39:06.

Hope this information will help you.
