I am trying to inspect the water table coordinates in where pass through an embankment in PLAXIS-3D OUTPUT. Does anyone who know how can i get the coordinates ?.Thank you

RE: HOW CAN I RETRIEVE TH WATER TABLE IN PLAXIS-3D OUTPUT

Dear Micha,

There is a command __dumpphreaticlevels in PLAXIS 2D Output, that can show us table of phreatic level coordinates:

It shows us a Z-coordinate as well.
Unfortunately, it does not work in PLAXIS 3D Output:

It would be great if the PLAXIS development team will add the similar feature in the future PLAXIS 3D releases.

Thank you!

RE: HOW CAN I RETRIEVE TH WATER TABLE IN PLAXIS-3D OUTPUT

Dear Emre,

I am afraid this output is not directly available in the PLAXIS Output program. The closest you can get is finding out where the pore pressures are (near) zero. That should also give the location of the phreatic surface (if the mesh is not too coarse)

I will add your wish to our list of future improvements so thanks for taking the time to ask the question here!

Kind regards,
