plaxis stress file

Question

I want to simulate a axially loaded pile (2d or 3d does not matter). Initially I want to apply only gravity. 1. I want extract a stress file (stress for every gauss point in every element). Is it possible? How do I extract it? 2. Modify the stresses externally and put it again in plaxis for the next calculation phase. Is it possible?

Hi Borana 1) you can get a table of all stress point data via the Output User interface: just select the desired stress output in the model view and then open the table. Alternatively, you can use the PLAXIS API to extract that data. 
 2) externally modify stresses and put it in PLAXIS again is not possible. Note that if it was possible that when changing stresses would introduce an out-of-balance that needs to be solved first before you can continue. 
 If there is a physical process you can follow to update the stresses, I suggest doing that to get the desired stress state.
