User defined soil model

Question

Hello, I have installed Plaxis 2D V21 as corporate user. Can you show how to select user-defined soil model (e.g. Norsand)? Don't think this is available from the Material set window??

Dear Mike, 
 First of all the user should have the proper tier of license. For UDSM the client should have an Advanced (ADV) or Ultimate (ULT) type of license and active SELECT license. More information. Also I recommend watching this video. 
 If the user has ADV or ULT he/she can open Material sets window (Ctrl+M), create new material and choose User-defined in the Material model drop-down list: 
 
 After that we go to Parameters tab and choose needed model in DLL file list:
