Plaxis 2D interface setting & excess pore pressure input

Question

Greetings to the forum members. I have two questions to ask. 
 1. I was trying to simulate the undrained loading and consolidation process of a circular skirted foundation and compare the results with previous research. Interaction between the foundation and soil was represented by either a fully rough or frictionless interface. 
 In the case of a fully rough interface, the results are in full agreement with the paper. However, in the case of frictionless interface, The excess pore pressure and consolidation settlement deviate by 20% from the result in the paper. I think that the interface is not completely smooth. (I set the Rinter=0.01 ). Can the interface be set as fully smooth as in Abaqus? Please teach me how to set it. 
 
 2. Can the excess pore pressure be input as the initial value before consolidation analyse?

 To answer both questions: 
 1. The Rinter was not implemented to work with such low factors, as this can cause numerical issues. You can use a Custom material to assign to the interface and directly apply the stiffness and strength you want for your case. 
 2. Excess pore pressure is a result of a PLAXIS calculation and cannot be given as input value. Note that excess pore pressures can develop due to undrained behaviour when one of the relevant options are selected in the material data set. As you might expect this is ignored in Consolidation and Fully coupled analyses.
