I am modeling for a circular steel plate with diameter of 30 cm and a thickness of 20 mm and its weight is 15 kg.
I assume E is same for general steel 6*10^8.
calculate I = pi*(0.3)^4/64
So EI=79481.25kNm^2
What will be my EA?

EA=6*10^8*1.0*0.02=0.12*10^8

How did you use 1m here ? here unit of EA is kN/m which means EA is calculated per meter length out of plane. Here A is decided on the how it going to bend, if you take the sheetpile system for deep excavation then your A should the plan area of the sheetpile and for circular section your area should be the face of the circular shape (hope you are referring the circular tube section which face is circular and it extended into the z plane )

understand you were saying Area should be the face of the circular shape, which will be 2*Pi*R*1m (into the plane), correct? however, for moment of inertia (I), wondering to know how to calculate I for this case. thanks!
