How parameters interconnected with deformation and forces of the structures in the soil

Hi all, 
 Can anyone explain how each soil parameter like stiffness parameters, strength parameters etc affect the structure deflection and forces with some explanations (if you have good source also please share) as i need to understand these things more clearly?

 The question is too general. It depends on the problem, soil, initial field conditions etc (the list is long). However, if you are interested to find out which parameter affects deflection much, I would advice you to use plaxis inbuilt sensitivity and parameter variation,on tool. This will show at a certain selected node, the most influential parameter.
