water level in Plaxis 3D

In this case you need to create at least 12 points:
— 4 corner points with coordinate Z = external water level (origin water level);
— 4 points closer to the pit with the same coordinate Z;
— 4 points even closer to the pit, but with coordinate Z = desired water level (usually the bottom level of the pit or lower).

If you want to set dewatering in the excavation, sometimes deactivated clusters inside the excavation (excavated soil) are set as Dry. The water level can be left at the initial level. In this case we should get a similar result. Moreover, this method is much easier to set.

If the excavation has embedded depth then we can use dry cluster and interpolate option for water level which will remove the failure on the excavated surface due to water pressure.

but for the shaft excavation (which we don't have no any embedded depth, as shown below, without that base slab => got from net), how can we use cluster dry option? even normal defining water level also cause the failure due to positive stresses (water pressure > effective pressure)?
