Define displacement in Plaxis 3D

Question

how do i define displacement in plaxis 3d? also what does the model boundary? and Do I need to define surface from 4 faces? Thank you.

Displacements are defined using either point or line or surface displacements.

Dear Burak, 
 There are guidelines in literature for determining the model boundaries. It depends on the soil behaviour, project type, analysis type and othe criteria. For seismic analysis the boundary generally have to be far away from the project area; in what is referred to as the free field.
