Remote Sensors Plaxis software

Dear Worrall, if there is a Training Video or Documentation on how it works and the process of connecting the Remote Sensors to the Plaxis software, please let me know so that it works in my field of expertise, and the following questions are ambiguous to me:

How could I connect the Remote Sensors to the Plaxis software?

Should I write a Python Program and use the Menu: Expert – Run Python Script – Open, to connect to the Remote Sensors, synchronize and update the Data or the other Menu should be used to connect the Sensors.

How is it possible to send and record the information “temperature”, “humidity”, “pressure”, “vibration”, “settlement”, etc. to the Plaxis software to create the Digital Twin Model and from which Menu in the Plaxis is it possible?

In the SoilVision there was a Menu named “Sensemetrics” which automatically connected to the Remote Sensors and update the Data to the Model. Is there an Option like named “Sensemetrics” in the Plaxis Menus as well?

Is the Sensemetrics cloud is just used for the Piezometric sensors or it could be connected to the Displacement, Pressure, Tension, Vibration, Humidity, Moisture, Temperature, etc. sensors as well?

Because your intention is to integrate PLAXIS software with sensors, but this forum is about iTwin Syncrhonizer, I guess it would be better to move the question to PLAXIS forum.

When discussing Bentley iModelHub, powered by iTwin.js project, I think a misunderstanding exists there: Using BIS, the model and its geometry and features are described, including sensors locations. There is no pre-defined functionality to store values from these sensors and it's expected they will be obtained from external data source (like Azure IoT) as a dynamic input.

It depends on a project requirements and specifics, how sensors' data should be managed (often there is some system in place already) and how it should be integrated with digital twin model. In my opinion iTwin.js platform is well prepared to be able to integrate with any system, as long as it's based on standard protocols and APIs.
