When requesting the Line input objects via the Python interface, I noticed that it returns a segmented line, not the single line that you put in through the GUI. Is it possible to get the Python interface to return the single line that you put in yourself? The returned line segments seem to be problematic, because sometimes line segments are missing as if the line gets trimmed at soil layer boundaries. Why does this happen and can you fix this?

I am afraid you need to be more specific with an example as you start with Line object and then you mention segmented line.
What do you mean with segmented line? Is it the cut object after intersection occurred?
Note that a Line object exists in both Blue and Green modes in PLAXIS Input but this returns different information as intersection occurs in between.
