Difference between geotextile and geogrid in PLAXIS 3D

Hi, 
 Can someone help me with finding the difference between modelling geotextile and geogrid in PLAXIS 3D. Both are having the same axial stiffness.

Hi Reshma In PLAXIS we have one type of element that can deal with this: this is called the geogrid element, but you may also use it for geotextile, or geosynthetics. These are all elements that can withstand axial extension, but no bending nor compression.
