Primary and Secondary Consolidation Coefficients

I am attempting to complete consolidation analysis using "alternatives" primary and secondary consolidation coefficients, however, every time I exit the model and enter again it reverts back to lambda and kappa. It seems like if I stay in the model it will show the alternatives are selected, however, I am just wondering why this is occurring and if it is affecting my models?

The alternatives are used to compute the main constitutive model parameters. These values are provided via the GUI but not stored internally, which is why you see this behaviour when you reload the project.

When using the alternatives the program automatically computes the necessary properties for the calculation, therefore what you provide as input values will be considered in your analysis.

So, you do not have to worry about it as what you provide as input is what the analysis will use.

You can always confirm that if you provide the Cs and Cc, close / reload the project and reopen the material dataset to confirm that the same values are shown, even if they are greyed out.
