I am trying to dewater inside 15m diameter shaft using axisymmetric model. 10 wells will set up along the bottom of slurry wall. Discharge volume for each well is 0.1m^3/s. So define well parameters with 10*q/(2pi*15m) in Plaxis 2D axisymmetric by following "unit of volume per unit of time per unit of width". However, Plaxis results indicates drawdown of water table is much less than hand calculation by Theis and Thiem solution. I wonder if there are any notes I should pay attention to when to place well points at Plaxs 2D axisymmetric model?
