in my 3x3 model of pile raft foundation, modeled as volume elements and with distributed load I would like to know how I can know how the load is distributed, i.e. how much is for example the% of load that the slab takes, so Qraft / Qtot ,also I would like to know about the graph for each pile of the normal effort as a function of depth, I get the forces from importing centerlines and then I select a pile and I extract the table, but I see that at the same depth of -1m there are many values and also at other depths there are two values one soil and the other clus, what does this mean?
Dear Alfonso,
The results in PLAXIS are displayed per node. Naturally in a pile raft foundation, there will be multiple piles with the elevation of -1, so in the table, you get to see all of them.
In PLAXIS we do not separate the amount of load as to the PLAXIS analysis there is simply an out-of-balance to be solved and eventually, you get stresses and deformations. The first part is based on the geotechnical engineer to determine.
I am certain that by doing some research you may find publications on this topic as it is quite a practical case worldwide.
