Hi,
A pseudo-static is not applied on the raft foundation, but on the entire model. To do so (in PLAXIS 3D Input) specify the desired acceleration in the Model Explorer under Model conditions -> PseudoStatic for the appropriate calculation phase. To see force in an embedded beam, use the select structural elements tool and double-click on the embedded beam.
With kind regards,

I gave seismic loading in the form of prescribed displacement at the bottom of boundary. But am not clear what kinematic boundary conditions i have to adopt for a 40x40x23m soil volume. Should i provide interfaces at bottom and vertical sides and give compliant at bottom and rest 4 vertical sides as free field case?
Please explain me clearly
Thank you for previous answer.
Dear Sir or Madam,
A pseudostatic analysis will not read the dynamic boundary conditions, but the typical deformation conditions.
There is no need for applying interfaces at the model boundaries as these are only needed when running free-field (dynamic) analysis.
