I am simulating soil bund construction using Plaxis2D V21 connect edition. There is a filling stages including surcharge counter weight. But during the surcharge and counter weight removal stages, there is an unexpected settlement changes (bounce back settlement about 500mm) occurred as shown in the figure.Figure 2 is for P excess. Anyone has an idea about this?
