Dear,
I am using PLAXIS 2D 21.00.01.7. For one of my reports I need to change the Legend Settings/Colouring in the PLAXIS 2D Advanced Output program. However, when I uncheck the "Largest signal value up" box nothing is happening in the Output view. What can be the reason for that? How can I solve it?
Thank you in advance!
Kind regards,
Mitch Frissen
Dear Mitch,
Can you please specify for which plots you have this issue?I just tried it with Uy and it seems to work so it might be related to a specific plot type.
Hello Stefanos,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I tried it with Uy, but in my view nothing changed.
It also doesn't work in the ABS(U) plot:
Hello again,
Not sure what is going on as it seems to work in my case. So, it may be something specific to the version or the project.
In order to be able to assist you with your project and identify the reason for the problem you experience, please submit a service request.
Then, one of our support engineers can help you in detail: https://apps.bentley.com/srmanager/ProductSupport
I will also explain it here as more users could get to the same point of confusion as you did.
The option in Output, by default, is considering that the largest absolute value is shown in Red colour. The detail is that this option will show the largest value in Red colour.
In your case, the largest absolute value and the largest value are equal, so no change is applied to the plot.
Compared to the case I showed where there is a difference, thus the change in the colouring scheme.
I will pass this over to our developers to further improve the options and make it clear as to what you can expect with such an option.
