In staged construction, I could see the positive interface has got inverted. In the image you can see the positive interface for the red highlighted polygon is vertically down whereas in the structures mode it looked like as if it is vertically up (as you can see in teh image other interfaces are vertically up). Can I create the interface at the vertically up (as you can see other interfaces)?

This probably happened as there are multiple surfaces defined at that location and due to intersection, it has to choose up or down due to the conflict. You must have received a warning about it when switched from Structures to Mesh mode.
As you cannot perform geometric changes in staged constructions you have two options:
- check the overlapping surfaces in Structures mode and manually intersect them to generate one surface per case for which you can assign the relevant interface- use the RMB in Structures mode to "Invert normal" of the surface to which this interface belongs, as that should make sure you have the same local axes with the overlapping surface and generating the correct interface should work.
By the way, with either of the operation , do I need to remesh the model again and follow all teh staged construction steps?
Any changes to the geometry require re-meshing. In staged construction, you need to make sure that the correct surface and interface is activated. The rest of the objects should be according to what you had already before.
As I am not changing any geometry, I do not need resmeshing. Is that correct?
Changing the normal of a surface means that you will generate a different interface (positive or negative). This requires re-meshing.
You can see that as we place an asterisk in the modes that require attention and the Mesh is one of them.
