Interrogating displacement model

Question

Hi Everyone, 
 
 I am trying to see if there is a more efficient way that can analyse my model that I have on 2D Plaxis , as I am looking to get the displacement in certain nodal points in my model and I do not want to go through the whole displacement table to get to the desired points that I am interested in. So if there is a filter feature that I can minimize the irrelevant data I would really appreciate it if someone can share it with me.

If you are interested to only see the displacements in a limited set of nodal points, you could

Select those nodes for curves, and use the curves generator to extract the data: https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotech-analysis/w/plaxis-soilvision-wiki/45998/selecting-points-for-curves
When you are in the table view, you can find a Filter Option under the Tool menu item:
When you know the coordinates you want to extract the data, you can use the getsingleresult command (command line or commands runner) to read those from the command line's session. The command format is as follows:
```
getsingleresult <phase>  <resulttype> <x> <y>
```
For example to get the vertical deformation u_y in Phase 1 for (x; y) = (-2.5.; 30):
```
0002> getsingleresult Phase_1 ResultTypes.Soil.Uy -2.5 30
    -0.09113351919761
    
```
