Plaxis 3D converting Files from V21 to V22

Question

Dear Sirs, 
 Whist opening a file that was computed using V21 with V22, it appears that all of the results and mesh were lost during converting of files. Historically, Plaxis versions were forward compliant, however, this does not seems to be the case at this instance or I am missing something here. 
 P.S. The results loss could be very annoying and time-consuming if a recalculation is required.

Hello Nadeem, 
 With the release of PLAXIS CONNECT Edition V22, we made some changes to the data structure of the material database and implemented a more flexible and more robust way of handling project units (among other improvements and fixes). 
 Due to these major changes, PLAXIS V22 can be installed alongside PLAXIS V21 , instead of overwriting it. 
 We have also taken precautions to prevent overwriting old projects: when opening, for example, V21 projects with PLAXIS V22, projects will automatically be saved as a converted copy with the _converted suffix. After the conversion, remeshing and recalculation are required to consider these changes. 
 In your case, if you need to continue working on a project and have no time to spend on re-calculating, I would then suggest to keep using the PLAXIS CONNECT Edition V21 and make the transition to V22 soon later.
