I have to admit &quot;millions of soil volumes&quot; is beyond anything I have heard or seen before.</p> <p>Can you please specify which version of PLAXIS you are using?</p> <p>Have you measured the time the command takes?&nbsp;</p> <p>Can you send us an example of the command that is run in the PLAXIS command line (or the Python command)?</p> <p>I can imagine that the higher the number of materials you have the more time will be spent on validating each material. Note that PLAXIS runs many validation checks on each material to make sure it is ready to go for calculations.&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
