trying to study the load displacement curve of pile-soil system. I created stages consists of loading unloading, (ex. stage 1: loading, load = 1000kn/m^2, stage 2: unloading , load = 0)
however, the the load displacement curve looks weird, as the stage two start from 0 KN to 1000 instead of the opposite. Also the last step of the stage 1 has a load of 0 KN.

I am not sure exactly what is configured but can it be that you have specified a positive pressure?
Note that PLAXIS considered compression as a negative value. You can read about it in our Reference manual.
