Asterisk in Interface's Displacements Output Table

Hi, 
 In the output for interface's displacements, understand that there will be a pair of nodes created at the interface location. May I know what does the asterisk at the node number represents in the output table as per screenshot below?

Hi Qinyi Ye, 
 As you have noted, interface elements are composed of pairs of nodes in which the nodes in a pair have the same coordinates. The asterisk indicates which elements the results correspond to. 
 For example, when the asterisk is on the nodes (left side), PLAXIS gives you the results of the soil element. Likewise, when the asterisk is on the wall nodes, PLAXIS gives you the results of the plate element. So, you can inspect the relative displacements between the soil and the structural elements. 
 
 If you are more of a visual person, you can note down the id numbers of the nodes (e.g. 66908 and 67269) and then visualize them. You can do that in Output using two methods: 1. Hide all nodes on the &ldquo;Selection&rdquo; pane and then press the plus button next to the &ldquo;Nodes&rdquo; (see attached image). This will display the full list of nodes in your model, from where you can show the ones that you are interested in (e.g. 66908 and 67269) by pressing the &ldquo;eye&rdquo; icon next to their id numbers. 2. Use the &ldquo;Connectivity Plot&rdquo; from the toolbar found on the left side of Output (see attached image). This will open a side pane on the right side, where you can search for specific nodal id numbers. When you activate those nodes, they will appear on your model with their corresponding id number.
