Dynamic loading

Question

Hi everyone, Currently, I am working on a dynamic model to predict the dynamic settlement and cyclic excess pore pressure under different magnitudes. In Image 1 you can see the basic model. Here, I have used the soft soil model as the soil model. In the model, I change the magnitude of the loading from 15 kPa to 50 kPa at a frequency of 2 Hz (scenario 1). Similarly, to observe the effect of the magnitude of the dynamic loading, dynamic load change from 15 kPa to 60 KPa (scenario 2) and 15 kPa to 70 KPa (scenario 3). But, even under different loading conditions (scenarios 1,2 and 3), I observed exactly identical results (settlement and EPP). Even if I changed the magnitude from 15 kPa to 200 kPa, it provides me with identical outcomes which are similar to scenario 1. Can anyone know the reason for this? In the model, dynamic load provide as a line load.

Dear Mihimal, 
 You say that for the different scenarios the outcome is identical. What outcome do you compare and what constitutive model do you use? If you only check the final result and you don't use a constitutive model that allows for pore pressure accumulation than indeed the final results will be pretty much the same. You just don't provide enough information to be able to say what might be the problem.
