Hi,

Normally indeed using wick drains closer together gives faster consolidation. However, without any data provided it's impossible to say why in your case it's the opposite.

I want to ask when reviewing soil improvement using PVD, why is the result of the decrease in time using my plaxis 2D when 2 m spacing is faster than 1.5 m spacing and 1.5 m spacing is faster than 1 m spacing?shouldn't pvd spaced closer should be faster? is there any effect on the mesh and the nodes?
