We want to have a look if we can also do our structural design in Plaxis. For this we need to apply a temperature load on a plate. So for i've been trying around with the thermal boundary condition, but i haven't been able to replicate the results from structural software considering a simple supported beam. The beam itself seems to work, i can replicate results (for example 1/8ql^2). The temperature load also seems to be correct, but the moments i find are different. Is there anybody who has some experience with this? Thanks in advance!
