In PLAXIS, I saw three types of undrained analysis : A,B and C. When I define the material as undrained, my thought is the soil is in an undrained state at the beginning of the analysis. I understand undrained "A" is for effective stress analysis/long-term condition and undrained "C" is total stress analysis/short-term condition. However, I do not fully understand in what analysis category will undrained "B" fall. Please advise.
