Hello,
How does dynamic multiplier work? I read about in the manual but I see results in my analysis that don't correspond to my dynamic load set up. Let's say I set up dynamic load as qy,start, ref= - 8000lbf/ft/ft, and then I set up the Dynamic Multiplier as in table below (without static load):
Then, if I set up "Dynamic time" as 0.9s (in the Phase set up), will this process be repeated (5 times because 0.18*5=0.9)?
Also, will the load be applied as:
Thank you!
thank you very much ! You really help me a lot !
Dear YY Ko,
The load results as given by OP is correct. This is how it works : applied load = (input load) * multiplier
With kind regards,
Dennis Waterman
I have same question about this , I want to confirm the load result which the poster say is correct or wrong?
thank you!
Dear Antonio,
The calculation will not be repeated 5 times. In the table you specify the time, hence after t=0.18 there is no more data and it will keep using the last known load data, which is zero.
