PLAXIS 2D Calculation Time

Question

Hello, 
 I want to carry out a mesh sensitivity study for my model to optimise the calculation time with efficient meshing. Is it possible to view the calculation time in the results window after the calculation has run?

Hi John, 
 The calculation time is not directly accessible through the program, but you can find it if you dig deeper into the project files. All the files related to the calculation are stored in the project folder, under the name: debug.dXX , where XX is the phase number that the program&rsquo;s kernel has stored. In each of these files, you can find useful information about the progress of the calculation, including the calculation time. If you open a file and scroll down to the bottom, you will find a table containing the parts of the calculation for CPU and Wall Clock. The wall clock is the actual time that the phase needs in order to be calculated.
