jupyter can not connect with plaxis

Question

Hello, 
 
 I upgraded plaxis version to V22 but I had the problem of jupyter interpreter not being linked to plaxis, in the last version, When I link to jupyter, the fiie conncetion disappears moments later. I used plaxis scripting with no problem. Any help would be really appreciated!

Dear Dhyaa, 
 Sorry to hear that you have problems running the Jupyter notebooks. 
 You mention that in the last version (you mean V22.02?) it connects for a while and then it fails later. That might indicate a firewall or security application intervening with the process. It can be that your system is blocking or filtering the communication. 
 Can you confirm that any processes from PLAXIS are whitelisted?

 Thank you for letting us know of the cause. It may help other users in the future. 
 About the error, it seems you are trying to preview the calculation. This error appeared to me only because I tried to preview a calculation but the calculation actually was finished. 
 So, there are no intermediate results to show as you can see the results normally via the View calculation results button (side toolbar). 
 Please try the following: while the calculation is running, first click on Pause and then Preview .

 This is rather odd. What do you mean you cannot see the buttons? 
 If the meshing procedure is finished - no errors in the command line - then you should see the option to View mesh as shown here: 
 
 Another option is to run the following command: 
 viewmesh 
 
 In Staged construction, you can click on the View calculation results button as shown here. This is after the calculation is finished. 
 
 Another option is to run the following command: 
 view Phase_3 
 Does that work for you?

Dear Rituraj, 
 As you can imagine this question is mostly about how Microsoft Windows work, not about PLAXIS. 
 I expect that if you do any simple internet search on any of the available search engines you will get plenty of pages that explain how to whitelist applications on Windows Defender.
