Hello everybodyI am modeling a deep caisson that is lowered into a deep hole as in the picture, using plaxis 3DQuestion: How can I put a 5cm layer of bentonite between the caisson wall and the soil, so that the caisson comes down easily and prevents friction with the soil?

Dear Dhyaa, I would recommend that you go through the manual and read about the Interface input as your question seems related to it. I guess you can model it by assigning bentonite properties to the interface, or by simply assigning a proper value for Rinter (very small value) for adjacent soils which simulates the cohesionless interaction of wall/soil. However, I'm sure the experts will reply to you in a bit, so hang on!
