How to model bedrock

Question

Hi! I am modelling a foundation on blasted rock (thickness about 4 m) on top of bedrock. 
 How do I easily and best model the bedrock? Currently I have modelled a fixed line displacement as bedrock, and I have added interfaces (r_inter=0,8) between blasted rock and bedrock, as I assume some sliding between blasted rock and bedrock can occur. Sincerely, Sondre

There can be a number of ways in which a non-deformable bedrock can be added but it all depends on the function of bedrock in the model. Usually, model boundary is considered as bedrock because the fixity for movement can be assigned at the model boundaries. 
 Can you explain a bit more as to what is the function of bedrock in the model and what is its geometry?
