dear all
i want to get the relationship between soil displacement and consolidation time by a python script, what information can be for reference?
thank you
Dear Xiong,
I am not sure I fully understand the question as you seem to already answer it yourself: the soil displacements at a location and the time result you get from PLAXIS.
Maybe you can elaborate a bit more on what you want as a result?
I'm sorry, Stefanos.
In other words, I want to simulate the consolidation process of silted soil below the water level (the application scenario is similar to that of a high-piled
wharf), can I refer to the consolidation analysis in Case 8 (Construction of a road embankment) of the manual, and at the same time, how do I consider
the boundary conditions?
I have another question, can I get the horizontal load result of the pile in the output window? I can't find the relevant information
thank you for your quick reply
best wishes to you!
Dear Xiong Qi,
Yes, you can refer to our tutorials for consolidation examples but please note that your case may be different. For instance, you mention about boundary conditions. These can vary based on the project.
In our tutorial we deal with a half-symmetric model therefore the Xmin boundary is closed. If you have the fully model, then typically the lateral boundaries are open.
For the forces acting on a pile, we typically use the interface results.
