I would like to open a newer version of Plaxis model in an older version of the software. A couple of months ago I saw a post to use VIP command mode to import newer version data into an older version. I think I lost that post. Can anyone please help?
New versions bring a major overhaul to the data structure of the material database and a more flexible and more robust way of handling project units. Due to these major changes older versions cannot open models made in newer version but newer versions of PLAXIS can open models made in older versions.
