Dear Plaxis community
I'm trying to simulate a pit excavation with diaphragm wall, but I have a panel every 5 meters and they work independently.
I have modelled my project with independently polygon but when I try to get my results it gives me as one big polygon, is there any way to model my wall independently?
Because plates connected without any connection element are fixed connected. You can:
- Use connection elements.
- Use small very flexible elements (Like 10 cm flexible elements).
But in any case, it is your responsibility to come up with the correct stiffness for connection.

Dear João
Berk is right, by default plate elements are rigidly connected. You can create custom connections in Staged construction or the technique Berk mentions with the thin flexible parts. About the latter make sure to not make them too thin as it can cause meshing to general many more elements than required.
In Input side, I can clearly see the panel. This means that you have correctly modelled them as separate panels but since they are rigidly connected they will behave as one continuous plate element.
If you want to force Output to only show a single panel, you can use the command line:
structureplot Polygon_8_1 # I assume that Polygon_8 is named Polygon_8_1 in Staged construction
