Hinged Connection

Question

Hello Everyone, 
 I'm looking to model a hinged connection between a volume and a surface (figure below, green line). Is it correct to create an Embedded Beam at the intersection and choose Connection : Hinged? What bothers me is that there will be only one connection point (Top or Bottom)

Hello Zakaria, 
 You may consider creating a dummy plate (small stiffness) on the volume element. So, you now create a custom connection between two plates. Short connection length would be simulated for a connection point.
