Local axis of the beam element

Hi all, 
 
 In Plaxis 3D, the local axis of the beam element is shown below.

but in reference manual it is provide like this.

why local axis 2 is interchanged with local axis 3 in program and reference manual.

Dear Nitharshan, 
 The local axes shown in your model are the ones you need to consider for the structural forces. 
 The ones shown in the manual only serve as an example and are not indented to describe all the various ways a beam present in PLAXIS 3D. 
 Note that you can choose the AxisFunction in the Selection (and Model) explorer from Automatic to Manual and specify yourself the definition based on your expectations.
