For example, embedded beams offer the opportunity to include different reinforcement bars and allows bond-slip modelling between concrete and rebar.Usually, the structural design will yield the total area of reinforcement (As) for the longitudinal reinforcement, which can be used as an input. Therefore, it is possible to give the characteristics of the whole (detailed) reinforcement.

Okay, and for the spiral reinforcement, can i define the nurbs curve as a beam? Because there is just beam that available or i cant modelling the spiral reinforcement?
Beams can be created from a NURBS line but embedded beams cannot be assigned to a NURBS line.
