Bending moment plaxis 3d

Question

I am modelling concrete pile foundation. But bending moment is just horizontal like this. How to make the bendjng moment vertical just like the pile?

Hi Muhammad, 
 The bending moment, M3 seems to be plotted on a different structural element. Are you sure you have selected your pile? You can use the " Drag a window to select structures " tool to select both vertical elements representing your pile and then press Enter to view the results.

And to add to the above, if you are using the Structural forces of volume piles option, you need to make sure to select the correct material in the pop-up wizard window that appears. 
 The centerline detected is based on the soil cluster (e.g. Soil_1_1) that is assigned to a material (e.g. Concrete).

Dear Muhammad, 
 PLAXIS can help with showing the structural forces in multiple ways. You can choose to use the feature Structural forces on volume piles or use a dummy beam element in the centerline of the pile. 
 From your description, I understand that you have the second. You mentioned though "embedded pile" and if that refers to the embedded beam element, then that is incorrect. Instead, you should use a beam element just like we describe in this article for plates in PLAXIS 2D - The &ldquo;dummy plate&rdquo; approach : Composite liner approach in PLAXIS 2D 
 If you choose the Structural forces on volume piles then PLAXIS requires you to provide the material and soil number to generate the centerline. 
 Both options give you all the relevant results for deformations and structural forces.

Dear Muhammad, 
 From the description, I see that you mention an embedded beam. You need to use a beam material instead as there is no skin resistance to be captured in such cases. The beam element is considered to capture the behaviour of the concrete volume. 
 By following the general modelling approach in the article I sent you on the dummy plate (dummy beam), then you can use it to get the forces from the volume. 
 Again another option is to simply use the feature Structural forces on volume piles . You can read more about the Structural forces on volume piles feature in our Reference manual.

 For horizontal displacements in PLAXIS 3D, depending on the applied load you can check both directions, Ux and Uy.
