The value of Rinter should be entered with soil properties only or for both the pile and the soil?
and another question please, when I apply the load

RE: Volume pile

Dear Maha,

You may want to adjust the numerical control parameters for the loading case such as to reduce the load fraction per step and/or increase the unloading steps. To assist you further please submit a service request. Then, one of our support engineers can help you in detail: https://apps.bentley.com/srmanager/ProductSupport

The interface will have both material properties assigned to it and the assignment of the interface property will be based on which material the interface is facing.

As shown in the attached graphic three soil clusters are shown. When interface properties are selected as “From adjacent soil” then the negative interface on the left will have the parameters taken from the orange material. Similarly, the negative interface on the right will have the parameters taken from the green material. The positive interface in the middle will have the parameters taken from the yellow material and the interaction at this interface between these two nodes consists of two elastic perfectly plastic springs.
